Understanding systems.Exploring security.Building with purpose.

Hi, I'm Shravan Kubade.

An aspiring cybersecurity professional and first-year IT engineering student interested in understanding how technology works and how digital systems can be made more secure.

01About

A first-year student, building the foundations.

I'm at the beginning of this path, and I'm comfortable saying that. What I have is curiosity, a structured approach to learning, and a long-term goal.

I'm learning how systems are built — and where they break.

I'm a first-year Information Technology engineering student at Sipna College of Engineering & Technology in Amravati. I'm interested in cybersecurity because it sits at the intersection of how systems are built, how they communicate, and how they fail.

Right now, I'm building foundations: practicing Python, learning C and C++, and getting comfortable with Linux, the command line, Git, and the web. Alongside coursework, I'm exploring networking, security fundamentals, and how web applications are attacked and defended.

I'm not claiming expertise yet. I'm documenting the process — what I study, what I build, and what I learn along the way — with the goal of becoming a security professional who understands systems from the inside out.

02Skills

Foundations, in progress.

A candid view of what I'm practicing, learning, and exploring. No percentages, no performance theatre.

Reading the labels

  • Practicing

Actively using it in coursework or practice.

  • Learning

Studying it now, with limited hands-on time.

  • Exploring

Reading, asking questions, and mapping the basics.

Labels describe my current stage, not proficiency. This list grows as coursework and practice progress.

03Projects

The public record.

Only work that is public, documented, and mine appears here. Right now, that list is empty.

Public repositories

No public projects yet.

I'm in the foundation stage. The Python exercises I'm working through live in a local practice lab, not in a public repository. Rather than pad this page with tutorial clones, I'll publish projects when they're documented and ready to be examined.

04Learning

A curriculum I'm building as I go.

Not a list of badges. A record of what I'm studying, what I'm exploring, and what I've actually completed.

How I learn

  1. 01

    Read the fundamentals.

Documentation and first-principles explanations before shortcuts.

  2. 02

    Build small things.

A script, a page, a lab. Something concrete to test understanding.

  3. 03

    Write down what breaks.

Notes on errors, fixes, and the parts that still don't make sense.

Certifications

None yet.

I'm prioritizing foundations over collecting badges. Verified certificates will be listed here when earned.
